For the release of Netflix’s High on the Hog – a docu-series on the origins of African-American cuisine – we collaborated with Inside Projects to produce a short animated kids series called “Legacies & Recipes” for Netflix. This original mini-series reimagines the themes, learnings and storytelling of High on the Hog through the lens of a child who explores the culinary traditions of soul food around her family’s Sunday dinner table.
